Amazon Web Services announced AWS Secret Cloud for Industry, a cloud offering for cleared U.S. defense contractors, research institutions and other National Industrial Security Program organizations running contractor-owned classified workloads up to Secret. Nextgov reports ASCI holds provisional Department of Defense Impact Level 6 authorization and is designed to cut classified environment provisioning from months to days.
